ASSOCIATION (ABPA)
The ABPA was formed in 1988 to promote seasonal events and small
businesses in Aurora. The
Association has organized renovation of many office buildings in
downtown Aurora, and now
Seeks to promote tourism in the city.
The ABPA sponsors several events throughout the year including the
Merchants Sidewalk Sale in
mid-June; the Merchants Back to School and Sidewalk Sale in mid-August;
and the Christmas
celebration beginning with the Santa Claus parage, Friday after
Thanksgiving at about 2pm. The
Christmas celebration includes Santas visit, lighting the
Christmas tree on Second Street around 6pm and
A carolers candle walk.
The association gathers the second and fourth Tuesday of the month for
an 8am breakfast meeting at the
Coachlight Inn, 223 Third Street, Aurora. Association officers are:

NORTH DEARBORN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION (NDBA)
North Dearborn Business Association was formed in 1991 to
promote business development and provide for business sponsored public and community
service projects in northern Dearborn County.
NDBA Association members sponsor and organize the annual
Bright Community Parade the last full weekend in July in conjunction with the Bright
Community Festival. The festival is the major fundraiser for the Bright
Volunteer Fire Department and the North Dearborn Rescue
Unit. The parade originated as a way for businesses to promote an annual festival. The
association provides and places American flags throughout the business district for
national holidays and for the community festival weekend. Each Christmas, a fully
decorated and lighted Christmas tree adorns the main intersection and is provided and
erected by association members and their families.

LAWRENCEBURG RIVERTOWN BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL
ASSOCIATION
The Lawrenceburg Rivertown Business and Professional
Association (LRBPA) was formed in 1995 as an outgrowth of the former Lawrenceburg
Merchants Association formed in 1978. Reorganization has allowed the business association
to represent a greater scope of business in Lawrenceburg.
With the influx of riverboat gambling into the
community, the association expanded to support existing businesses as well as promote
growth and revitalization of the business community. The association is working to retain
businesses and recruit new businesses downtown to restore the citys vitality.
Membership is open to any business, organization or
individual in Lawrenceburg who supports the LRBPAs purpose. Dues are based on the
number of employees in a business.
Major association events include the annual spring
festival in April and the Victorian Christmas in December. The association also sponsors
sidewalk sales throughout the year.
Meetings are held at 8:30am on the first Tuesday monthly
at Gallimaufrys Café and Bakery , 319 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg. Association
