Welcome to the Department of Planning & Zoning! Situated in the Greater Cincinnati metropolitan area, Dearborn County consists of 14 political townships and 7 cities and towns: Lawrenceburg, Greendale, Aurora, Dillsboro, Moores Hill, St. Leon and West Harrison. Our home service area consists of 50,000 people and offers area attractions such as Hollywood Casino, Perfect North Slopes, Lawrenceburg Speedway, Hillforest Museum, the Dearborn Trails along the Ohio River, and 4 golf courses. Major arterial roads include Interstate 74, Interstate 275, U.S. 50, U.S. 52, and eight State Roads. The area is also served by the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)--which is located less than 10 miles to the southeast of the County.

New Business:  Request for a waiver of the panhandle separation requirements to act as road frontage for a new buildable lot.  The property is owned by James and Pamela Monnig and located along Beneker Road and Kidd Lane in Kelso Township, Parcel #15-02-10-300-080.001-010

New Business CASE #1:     Dimensional Standard Variance to create a buildable lot with no road frontage, the property owner is Karen Baille and is located at 12355 North County Line Road in Jackson Township, Parcel #15-03-01-200-009.000-009 .

New Business Case #2:       Development Standard Variance for a side yard setback on a pond, with the owner being Erik Hail, the property located at 13591 Chesterville Road, in Sparta Township, Parcel #15-09-23-200-001.011-021.
